How I Make Stuff: Colored Light

One of the things I never really noticed until I started doing colored pieces regularly is that light has color, and different light sources have different colors. For example, if you've ever looked at a wall opposite from a window right after the sun comes up in the morning, you'll notice that the light on the wall is a bright golden yellow/orange. During the middle of the day, it's more of a normal white. Moonlight, upon close inspection, is a very light silvery-blue, and isn't as effective as sunlight, so the shadows at night are much, much darker. Lightning is almost purple, if it's at night, although I didn't draw that because why on earth (or any other planet) would Lunari be flying in a lightning storm? Anyway, the point is, you can change the entire feel of a picture and give it a different sense of time by adjusting the lights and shadows. I think that's pretty neat.
